In the first season, contestants competed each week to become part of the Honor Roll. Those in the Honor Roll at the end of the month would compete in the Monthly Finals for the title of “Star of the Month.” The “Star of the Month” would secure a spot in the finals. Charice Pempengco is 3rd honorable mention.

that goes to show how bad the judging of talents in Philippines-where brilliant talent went pass unnoticed!unfair? bias?I i cant say the rigth word but its really geting into your nerves! I cant bear to see charice face when she lost on the first roundin that contest and ws so happy to see her back as a wild card—andtruly sad to see her sad to be on the third plcer in the end of the contest…irritting!
